Windows 10 Problems, Issues with solutions and fixes

Image
If you have installed Windows 10 RTM Final version, you may be facing some  Windows 10 problems  and issues. Fortunately, the list of known issues is not long and is limited to some countries for some reason. The best thing about bugs in Windows 10 or known issues is that Microsoft works on them as soon as they are notified. Despite that, here are the some bugs and issues. Windows 10 Problems and Issues 1] Windows installation may terminate with SOMETHING HAPPENED message In some languages, you may see the message “ Something happened ” with the only option being CLOSE button. Remix OS might just make you want to put Android on your laptop

Image
Earlier this year at CES we were introduced to  Remix OS  — an Android variant from Jide that turns Google's mobile operating system into a desktop OS. Remix takes basic Android and adds all the elements you'd expect on a PC or Mac: there's support for mice and keyboards, a windowed interface, a file manager, system bar, and a dock at the bottom of the screen for your apps. And because it's based on Android, it already has a load of apps ready to use — from Facebook and Microsoft Word to  Clash of Clans  and  Candy Crush Saga . Mobile World Congress, the company announced that  the software's beta  will be available to download — for free — from March 1st, adding support for more machines and over-the-air updates. We tried out an early version on a Dell laptop, and the results were impressive. Although there were a few bugs and glitches, like delays with resizing windows, overall the experience felt pretty smooth and looked just as good. The company says

Plastic-eating caterpillars could help get rid of the world’s waste

Image
Plastic is fantastic. It’s cheap, durable, and doesn’t react to the usual organisms that break down organic matter. This has made it incredibly useful for the packaging industry, but has also led to mountains of waste, like the trillion plastic bags dumped in landfills annually. Now, though, the fight against plastic might have an unexpected ally: a type caterpillar called the wax worm that loves to chow down on plastic bags. The discovery of the wax worm’s previously unknown diet was made accidentally by Spanish researcher, Federica Bertocchini. Bertocchini is a part-time beekeeper, and is used to removing wax worms from her hives, where the caterpillars like to munch on the beeswax inside. After leaving a recently evicted troupe of wax worms in a plastic bag one day, Bertocchini found that the critters had munched their way to freedom. THE CATERPILLARS CAN CHEW HOLES IN A PLASTIC BAG IN LESS THAN AN HOUR Bertocchini was curious as to whether the centimeter-long wax worms

Driverless cars Thanks to Google's driverless car experiment, the world may be on the verge of reducing the number of traffic fatalities in a year. Ooho Edible Water Bubble Aims

The United States uses about 50 billion plastic water bottles each year, which requires 17 million barrels of oil. Sadly,  less than a quarter  of that plastic will get recycled. If you don’t want to be stuck carrying around a water bottle when you’re done taking a drink, why not just make a container you can eat?  Yuka Yoneda from Inhabitat gives a demonstration of how to do just that using a process called spherification, which creates a liquid with a soft membrane that you can eat. The process combines drinking water with  sodium alginate , which comes from brown seaweed. After those two are combined, spoonfuls are put into a bath of  calcium lactate , which is a salt that can be found in many items like baking powder, antacids, and cheese. Inside the bath, a gelatinous membrane begins to form, though the water stays liquid in the middle. The result is a refreshing drink of water that doesn’t require a separate vessel like a bottle or a cup It is a well-known fact that pla
